From the artist: I’m not typically a morning person, but sunrises in Sri Lanka are something else. When the light filters through the jungle trees, it’s worth waking up before the sun rises to see it. I didn’t truly realize how stunning the sunrise was until, on a random walk around my neighborhood, I decided to fly my drone. It wasn’t planned—just a moment of curiosity. But when I saw the scene unfold through the lens, I was blown away. Every time I look at this photo, I feel like the luckiest person in the world.”
