From a restaurant rooftop, I had the perfect view of the Bay of Animals Peak along Sri Lanka’s south coast. The sunset was shrouded in mist, painting the sky with soft, fading hues as surfers coming out from the water after a fun session. The scene felt harmonious—pure peace, Sri Lanka style. Even though I’ve witnessed this view countless times, the beauty never fades. Each day, it feels as though I’m seeing it for the first time. That’s why I always bring my camera with me—because the same scene never feels quite the same. And this one, this moment, is one of my favorites.
